Sarah Knorr, MT-BC

Experience:   Sarah has 15 plus years of clinical experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and mental health diagnoses. She also has experience presenting hands-on music therapy workshops for school-aged children, facilitating Drums Alive classes for people with disabilities, directing and accompanying church choirs, running a Kindermusik program, and teaching private voice and piano lessons.

Expertise/Special Interests: Sarah’s passion is using music to empower people to find their voice.

Gayle Sampson, MT-BC

Areas Served: St Joseph County

Experience: Gayle founded the Music Therapy Department at the St. Joseph Hospital/later Medical Center of Wichita, Kansas; headed the Activity Therapy Department of Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana; and more recently, provided Music Therapy Services to numerous northern Indiana hospital, school, and community clients.

Expertise/Special Interests:  Gayle has worked with a variety of clients, including those who sought services for physical rehabilitation, substance abuse, psychiatric, wellness, and international adjustment issues.  Gayle also holds a Fellowship in Bonny Method Guided Imagery and Music, certificate in Neurological Music Therapy,  is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, and has experience as a music teacher, both in Indiana and Nigeria, West Africa.
